In this political climate, the role of California’s leadership isn’t just to govern – it’s to resist, protect, and advance. The next Governor must have the courage to stand up to authoritarian overreach, defend our most vulnerable communities, and ensure that California continues to be a sanctuary of progress, equity, and innovation – not in spite of federal pressure, but because of it.
