Every Friday between 5pm and 6pm some of the people in my neighborhood get together and protest the current Trump Regime. The group started out small, but every week there seem to be more people standing on the four corners of the main intersection of College and Ashby in Berkeley, California.

Cars honk as they are stopped at the red lights or driving through the greens. The protestors wave signs.

For now it’s mostly the neighborhood Boomers that have been showing up. Considering the location, I’m surprised that more students haven’t shown up, or more people haven’t been stopping as they walk home on their evening commutes.

They truly hope that their small action will make a difference. I’m not sure. We’ve never been up against this level of Fascism before in our country. It might take more than a weekly protest. I hope it doesn’t come to that.
